Network & Telecommunication Supervisor
Position Summary:
Network & Telecommunication Supervisor is supervises the day to day activity of the Network & telecommunication division
Nature and Scope of Position / Duties & Responsibilities:
Handled the radio transmission and telephone calls.
Used policies and procedures and send them to the appropriate agencies or employees.
Managed the wide range of software and hardware systems.
Recorded and preserved all the confidential information received.
Examine the fire alarms and camera security alarms.
Networking
Understands the issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, email, etc.
Understands the issues involved in administering and maintaining corporate WAN.
Telephony
Assists with the administration and maintenance of the telephone system, including telephone switches.
Assists with the creation of new hire telephone and voicemail extensions, routing extensions to appropriate locations and updating information as Innovator seating assignments change.

Ability to communicate orally and written in a professional manner
Prior experience supporting, implementing and/or administering networks such as Microsoft Windows Active Directory
Works well both alone or in a team setting
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: :
I.Education Requirement:
Degree holder in Engineering
Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE);
Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA);
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Hands-on experience implementing and administrating network devices, setting and maintaining policies and rights/security within a Windows Server 2000/2003environment:
Firewalls
Cisco, HP, and Dell network switches
Cisco routers
Cisco VPN
Wireless Access Points
HP, Dell server platforms
Windows Server 2000/2003 Active Directory
Symantec Back-Up Exec software and related backup tape drive
Desktop and laptop installation and problem resolution in a Windows XP environment
Previous responsibility for providing customer support
Demonstrable level of competence including:
A thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking
A practical level of experience implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
Working knowledge of common network monitoring and security utilities
Troubleshooting focused on determining hardware vs. software, hardware vs. firmware, software vs. operating system, network vs. application/systems, and patterned vs. non-repeatable problems
3+ years of network administration mandatory
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer presentation skills
Bachelor’s degree (preferably engineering related)
Current CCNA or CCNP strongly preferred
Ability to lift, carry, and move all components of PC workstations, servers, network equipment, peripherals, and other ancillary equipment
II.Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 8 -10 years of experience in managing Network.
