Job Description
- Analyzing blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Consulting with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Architecture / Urban Studies; Engineering(Others) or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering/Architecture or equivalent acceptable by User Organization. (as per required discipline)
- Fully conversant in computer operations, current version of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), including. Knowledge in Microsoft Visio 2007 would be beneficial
- Knowledge in Microstation or AutoCAD drafting would be beneficial
- 10 years’ experience in construction work from the date of qualifications, with five (5) years of those in cost estimating
- Including but not limited to, estimating, preliminary costing, preparation of bills of quantity and bills of material, quality scopes of work, variation or change order costs and final accounts.
