Job Description
- Structural metal and platework fabricators and fitters fabricate, assemble, fit and install steel or other metal components for buildings, bridges, tanks, towers, boilers, pressure vessels and other similar structures and products.
- Cut, bend, and shape metal components using a range of fabrication equipment such as saws, lathes, drill presses, and grinders.
- Weld or join metal components together using various techniques and methods including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding. Must know how to read drawings.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
