Job Description
- Cooking and preparing food: Prepares, cooks, and presents high-quality dishes.
- Managing kitchen operations: Oversees the preparation of ingredients and cooking in their section, and coordinates with other chefs de partie.
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety: Oversees, develops, or enhances processes for food safety and storage, and helps maintain or replace kitchen equipment.
- Monitoring supplies: Monitors supplies and assists with recipe costing and inventory control.
- Estimating production needs: Estimates the daily production needs of the restaurant.
- Ensuring food quality: Ensures the quality of raw and cooked food meets restaurant standards.
- Assisting with menu development: Assists the executive chef and sous chef to define menu concepts and develop dishes.
- Working under pressure: Produces and serves meals promptly to customers while maintaining a high standard.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience in Asian food especially JAPANESE CUISINE. Fluent in English Language.
