Job Description
- Set up sound equipment, and other audio devices according to event specifications
- Ensure all cables, connections, and power sources are properly set up and secure.
- Perform sound checks before the event to calibrate audio equipment for optimal performance in the venue
- Adjust volume, equalization, and other audio settings based on the space and event need
- Operate and monitor audio equipment during the event, ensuring clear and balanced sound for all audio feeds (music, speech, etc.)
- Adjust sound levels in real-time to accommodate changes in volume, environment, or content.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any audio-related issues quickly to minimize disruption
- Safely dismantle and pack up sound equipment after the event.
- Ensure all equipment is stored properly or returned to the appropriate location in good con
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience in operating sound systems for live events, including conferences, concerts, and corporate events.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot audio issues and perform in high-pressure, live-event environments.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with clients, event staff, and other technical personne
- Physical ability to lift and move sound equipment as necessary
