Job Description
- Monitor and coordinate the production plan.
- Coordinate and negotiate with the production planner.
- Deliver the schedule to the supervisor/team leader.
- Receive and hand over shifts with the other shift engineer.
- Monitor the execution of processes under standard conditions.
- Review mold plans and priorities for operating these molds.
- Supervise machine setup and performance improvement.
- Review mold rates and ensure targets are met.
- Monitor optimal use of raw materials and compare outputs with inputs.
- Monitor and review the operating conditions of molds and machines, ensuring they are within acceptable limits.
- Analyze root causes of scrap and defects.
- Analyze data to identify contributing factors.
- Develop corrective actions to reduce defects and other scrap.
- Provide training on methods to reduce defects and scrap.
- Ensure mold and machine improvements to minimize defects and scrap.
- Analyze and improve workforce utilization using available resources.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding workforce support to cover shortages.
- Monitor and implement quality procedures and documentation.
- Lead the improvement process and procedures.
- Create operating instructions and templates for all procedures in the production process.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 6 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Industrial) or similar fields.
- Experience in plastic production(injection).
