Job Description
- Deep understanding of welding techniques, materials, and equipment specific to piping in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing and directing welding teams.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards for welding and pipeline construction.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address and resolve welding-related issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards for construction sites.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Education: Mechanical Diploma or Degree (optional but preferred).
- Experience: 7 to 10 years of experience as a Welding Foreman in the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on pipe welding.
- Overseas Experience: Previous experience working on international projects is highly preferred.
