Job Description
- Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings.
- Reviewing the menu and doing inventory.
- Develop and oversee food production, preparation, and presentation.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards, including food handling practices, use of equipment, and employee training.
- Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks.
- Making sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work
- Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling required
- Demonstrated knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation required
