Job Description
- Setting up and operating laser cutting machines according to the specifications of a job order
- Performing regular maintenance checks and minor repairs to ensure the machine is in good working order
- Monitoring the machine during operation to ensure the task is completed accurately
- Read and interpret blueprint designs and sketches to understand job requirements.
- Set up and calibrate laser cutting machines based on the specifications of the job.
- Monitor machines during the cutting process to ensure optimum running.
- Ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Architecture / Urban Studies or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proven experience as a Laser Cutting Machine Operator.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design sketches
- Knowledge of laser cutting procedures and safety standards.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on feet for extended periods
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality.
