Job Description
- Consulting with clients to understand event and cake needs. Creating preliminary cake designs, including drawings or other mock-ups for approval
- Decorating cakes and other pastries with a variety of tools and ingredients. Preparing cake batters, fillings, icings and other necessary cake components. Sculpting cakes into intricate shapes and forms
- Collaborating with chefs, bakers and other team members to ensure the quality and visual appeal of the final product. Ordering necessary supplies and managing tool and ingredient inventory. Keeping work-spaces and equipment clean and sanitary
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- With minimum of 2 years working experience as cake decorator/artist.
- Artistic, creative, with excellent attention to detail and handiness. Experienced overseas will be an added advantage.
- Excellent customer service skills, Willingness to work a variety of shifts.Training in pastry arts, culinary design, or a related field is preferred.
