Job Description
- Supervise, “train” staff and ensure Kitchen Compliance.
- Prepare corporate catering at times. Prepare and Cook daily meals
- Maintain a clean work station, kitchen, cooking appliances
- Comply with safety and health standards
- Daily preparation of all ingredients and menu items
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow recipes.
- Able to prepare food for special dietary needs
- Prepare and store all poultry, meat and vegetables and other food accordingly to standard and safety procedures.
- Ensure that all health, safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
- Undertake cleaning, sanitation of all kitchen areas
- Restock items as needed and ensure items are as ordered and standards are met. Recording payroll data
- Supervise, “train” staff and ensure Housekeeping Compliance.
- Overall responsible to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the guest house.
- Provide housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guest check out.
- Assist with laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing, and sorting linen
- Checking for faults or damage and arranging repairs and routine maintenance work
- Conducts housekeeping training and making sure housekeeping staff work to health and safety rules ensuring compliance with hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Supervise and inspect the day to day management of a domestic housekeeping team.
- Ensure that productivity is achieved on a daily basis; performing cleaning tasks when staff don’t show up for work or the Team is shorthanded.
- Perform detailed deep cleans when required
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management; Hospitality/Tourism Management or similar fields.
- Can speak and understand the English language as a mode of communication.
- Ability to prepare foods for special dietary needs and other culinary specialty.
- Good communication skills. Physically fit.
