Job Description
- Ensuring orders are being prepared with the correct priority
- Ensuring the smooth and timely flow of orders from waiters to the kitchen, checks dishes for accuracy and presentation, assists in final dish preparation, maintains fast service, handles customer complaints, and upholds quality and sanitation standar
- Recommend improvements to make service faster and better to help enhance our quality and reputation.
- Eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines or dishwashing
- Inspect the pass premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning
- Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff (e.g. when a customer has a particular request or special allergy consideration
- Support other tasks as needed by the whole team
- Enforcing health and safety rules inside the restaurant to better protection of guest safety and brand reputation
- Effectively communicate order status, modifications, and special requests between the kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Review incoming orders for accuracy and completeness before they are sent to the kitchen.
- Address any order discrepancies or issues promptly and professionally
- Demonstrate good memory skills as an important aspect of serving particularly when busy. Memory tricks include word and visual associations, organizing information, mnemonic devices (i.e., BMW: Bread on the left, the meal in the middle, water on the
- Train new staff on order fulfilment and communication procedures. Execute management instructions when required
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management; Hospitality/Tourism Management; Others or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- At least 2 years of similar work experience in a hospitality industry preferably in fine dining restaurants-Knowledgeable in leading a team and expertise in working around the kitchen-excellent communication , interpersonal and time management skills
- High school diploma; Higher degree in hospitality or relevant field will be appreciated
- Proven experience as food expeditor or other restaurant position- A customer-oriented approach
