Job Description
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes and menu specifications
- Wash, chop, and cut fruit, meat, vegetables, and other ingredients as required
- Assist with food preparation for the day’s service, ensuring the quality and consistency of all dishes.
- Monitor kitchen inventory and identify items that need restocking
- Plate meal items under the supervision of the Chef de Partie, ensuring they meet presentation standards and are ready for service.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proficient knife skills and the ability to prepare a variety of food items efficiently
- In-depth understanding of food safety regulations, health codes, and hygiene standards
