Job Description
- operating and maintaining industrial furnaces to melt raw materials, ensuring proper temperature control, material composition, and quality standards while adhering to safety protocols, often within a manufacturing setting,
- key responsibilities may include charging furnaces, monitoring melt processes, sampling molten metal for analysis, and performing routine maintenance on melting equipment.
- Safely operate various types of melting furnaces (induction, electric arc, gas-fired) to melt raw materials according to specified parameters.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Safely transfer molten metal from the furnace to molds or ladles, ensuring proper flow and casting quality.
Additional Information:
- Regularly sample molten metal to analyze chemical composition and ensure compliance with quality standards.
