Job Description
- Perform test runs: Run initial batches of production to ensure quality Make adjustments: Adjust settings as needed to ensure proper functioning Perform quality control: Check the finished products for quality Troubleshoot: Identify and fix issues
- Adhere to safety protocols: Ensure machines are operated safely
- Set up machines: Read blueprints and instructions to plan the order of operations Load materials: Load materials into the machines, such as metal, plastic, or wood
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- An automotive parts machine setter prepares machines for production of auto parts, such as by setting up presses, loading materials, and performing test runs. They also ensure quality control and make adjustments as needed.
