Job Description
- Designing and managing cooling systems, including air handling units and chilled water loops.
- Creating the overall data center layout, considering power requirements, cooling systems, cabling, and physical security.
- Choosing appropriate hardware components like UPS systems, generators, cooling units, and network switches based on client needs.
- Overseeing the construction process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project timelines.
- Verifying the functionality of all systems before handover to the client.
- Manage relevant client communications.
- Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Prof'l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof'l License Exam) holder.
- Possess the expertise to design, build, and manage all aspects of a data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, network, and physical layout, essentially delivering a fully operational facility ready for use ("turnkey") to the client.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems pertaining to data centre environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain good customer relationships with other contractors whilst working on sites.
