Job Description
- Responsible for managing restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service, maintaining quality control, and supervising staff.
- Involves handling customer concerns, training team members, monitoring inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints or special requests professionally.
- Intervene in conflict resolution between staff and customers if necessary.
- Maintain a welcoming and positive atmosphere in the restaurant.
- Ensure food and beverages meet company standards for taste, quality, and presentation.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies; report shortages to management.
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are functioning properly and report maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory control and waste management to minimize losses.
- Generate basic shift reports on sales, complaints, and inventory usage.
- Monitor daily sales, promotions, and discounts.
- Enforce workplace health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ensure all employees follow fire, emergency, and workplace safety protocols.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Management or Leadership Training
- Ability to train, guide, and motivate staff
- Customer service excellence & problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, scheduling, and inventory management
- Basic financial & cash-handling knowledge (handling POS systems, reports, and sales tracking)
- Food safety, hygiene, and quality control expertise
- Conflict resolution & ability to handle customer complaints professionally
- Strong communication & organizational skills
