Job Description
- Responsible for a wide range of cost accounting functions, including product costing, variance analysis, and cost reporting.
- With strong understanding of accounting principles, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and maintain accurate product costs for all new and existing products, considering factors such as material, labor, and overhead.
- Investigate and analyze variances in material, labor, and overhead costs compared to budgets and standards.
- Prepare cost and profitability calculations for special projects, such as quotations submitted to the Value Engineering (VE) Department.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the cost accounting module within the ERP system.
- Analyze cost audits and prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Continuously identify and implement opportunities to improve cost accounting processes and procedures.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- 3+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and cost accounting concepts.
- Proficiency in Oracle ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Manufacturing Companies
- CPA or CMA certification. Has a strong understanding of accounting principles, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
