Job Description
- Protection Relay Testing. Primary and Secondary Injection Testing
- Online and offline Partial discharge testing. Transformer SFRA, Ratio, Winding Resistance, IR, PI
- Switchyard Testing – e.g. circuit breakers, disconnectors & interlock checking
- HV Commissioning/Testing of GIS and AIS equipment. Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Must be an IELTS Passer or IELTS Exempt
- Salary offer is taxable, food and accommodation is care of the worker
- Testing, Commissioning, and maintaining all types of High Voltage primary plant equipment
- Experience in Secondary Protection relays earth fault over current, distance, line impendence, differential, generation and transformer differential
- Experienced in the use of sophisticated test equipment test equipment including Omricon, Doble and Schneider as well as various types of protection systems such as Siemens, ABB, SEL, Schneider
- Primary and Secondary Testing of CT, VT, Protection Schemes on GIS and AIS equipment
- Commissioning of Siemens 69kV GIS Switch Gear
- Familiarity in the use of Omicron and Megger equipment and software will be an advantage
