Job Description
- Assemble and install undercarriage components on locomotives, including wheels, axles, suspension systems, and tracks
- Ensure that all undercarriage components are properly aligned and securely mounted for safe operation
- Inspect and test undercarriage systems for damage, wear, or defects before and after installation
- Use mechanical tools (wrenches, lifts, jacks, hydraulic equipment) to mount and secure parts
- Follow technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications during the assembly process
- Perform adjustments to ensure proper functionality, alignment, and safety of undercarriage systems
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Candidates must have a passport.
- Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
- Knowledg eof undercarriage components, including wheels, axles, suspension systems, and tracks
- Proficient in using hand and power tools (e.g., wrenches, drills, lifting devices) for mounting and securing systems
- Ability to use mechanical tools (hydraulic equipment, wrenches, lifting gear) to mount and secure parts
- Familiar with technical drawings, manuals, and assembly specifications
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments on undercarriage components
