Job Description
- In-depth knowledge of BHS design, operation, and maintenance, including conveyor systems, sorting systems, and automated baggage handling technologies
- Understanding of how BHS integrates with overall airport operations, including check-in, security screening, and baggage claim processes
- Familiarity with international and local regulations and standards governing baggage handling, including safety and security requirements
- Knowledge of technical specifications and best practices for BHS components such as baggage conveyors, sortation systems, and tracking technologies
- Expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues related to BHS operations and performing preventive and corrective maintenance
- Expertise in the design and integration of BHS components within the airport infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and efficiency
- Experience in managing BHS projects, including installations, upgrades, and expansions, from planning through execution and testing
- Skills in optimizing BHS performance to enhance operational efficiency, reduce baggage handling times, and minimize errors or delays
- Proficiency in ensuring that BHS systems meet safety and security standards, including compliance with airport security screening protocols
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs for airport staff on BHS operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic); Engineering(Industrial); Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience in baggage handling systems or related fields, with a strong focus on system design, operation, and maintenance
- At least three years of this experience at Airports
