Job Description
- Knowledge of life safety systems, including fire detection and suppression systems, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and smoke control systems
- Familiarity with international, national, and local fire safety codes and standards, such as NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) codes, building codes, and aviation-specific safety regulations
- Understanding of emergency preparedness protocols, including evacuation plans, emergency response procedures, and crisis management
- Knowledge of how life safety systems integrate with other building systems, such as HVAC, security, and building management systems
- Expertise in conducting risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend improvements
- Expertise in designing and implementing life safety systems that comply with regulatory requirements and address the specific needs of airport facilities
- Proficiency in ensuring that life safety systems meet all regulatory and certification requirements, including conducting inspections and obtaining necessary approvals
- Experience in developing and conducting training programs and drills for airport staff on life safety procedures, emergency response, and evacuation protocols
- Skills in investigating incidents related to life safety, analyzing root causes, and developing recommendations to prevent future occurrences
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Civil) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Safety Engineering, Civil Engineering
- A degree in a relevant field such as Fire Safety Management, Emergency Management, or Safety Engineering can be advantage
- Professional Certifications can be advantage: Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Emergency Management Certification
- 7 years of experience in life safety management and fire protection
