Job Description
- In-depth understanding of cleaning practices and standards for various airport environments, including terminals, airside facilities, and baggage handling areas
- Knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) strategies, pest control methods, and regulations related to pest control in commercial and industrial settings
- Understanding of wildlife management practices, including strategies for managing and mitigating wildlife interactions with airport operations, such as bird strikes
- Familiarity with regulations and standards related to cleaning, pest control, and wildlife management, including health and safety regulations and environmental protection laws
- Expertise in developing and implementing cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all airport facilities
- Proficiency in designing and overseeing pest control programs, including monitoring, prevention, and response to pest infestations
- Skills in implementing wildlife management strategies to minimize the risk of wildlife-related incidents, such as bird strikes, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations
- Knowledge of health and safety practices related to cleaning, pest control, and wildlife management, including safe use of chemicals and equipment
- Experience in training staff on cleaning procedures, pest control practices, and wildlife management techniques, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in BioTechnology; Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Facilities Management, Biological Sciences
- Certification is advantage: BICS, Certified Pest Control Technician (CPCT), Wildlife Control Operator Certification, Certified Environmental Health and Safety Professional (CEHSP)
- 7 years of experience in cleaning, pest control, and wildlife management
- At least three years of this experience at Airports
