Job Description
- Ensure safe working environment and clean condition for employees; ensure that employees implement safe working habits and self – conscious on safety;
- Reports and prepares notice of violations on employees violation on safety, security, stealing, sabotage and other unlawful/unsafe practices that is non-conformity to company and client’s policies and rules and regulation;
- Formulates policies and procedures to Safety and Health condition of the workplace.
- Serves as secretary to Health & Safety Committee, prepares reports including observation, analysis of any safety incidents and injuries etc.
- Conducts educational meeting to instruct employees in pertaining matters pertaining to occupational health and prevention of accidents;
- Maintains or assist in the maintenance of check by government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any other related activities.
- Observe and carry out job orders by the Project Supervisor or Client’s Representative in relation to project undertaken by the client;
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- With relevant experience in the shipyard or onboard vessel.
- DOLE/TESDA-certified Safety Officer or any QHSE related course
