Job Description
- • Manage day-to-day pizzeria operations, including the kitchen, dining area, and deliveries.
- • Ensure all food items are prepared according to the company's quality standards and recipes.
- • Oversee opening and closing procedures, including inventory management, cash handling, and daily sales reports.
- • Hire, train, and supervise pizzeria staff (cooks, servers, delivery personnel, etc.).
- • Schedule shifts and manage labor costs effectively.
- • Lead and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment
- • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- • Ensure that customers are satisfied with their experience at the pizzeria by addressing complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- • Monitor customer feedback and take proactive steps to improve service quality.
- • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ingredients, to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- • Monitor food costs and reduce waste to maximize profitability.
- • Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure accurate stock levels
- • Ensure that the restaurant complies with all local health and safety regulations.
- • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, including food preparation and storage areas.
- • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotions, events, and special offers to increase foot traffic and sales.
- • Develop relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
- • Monitor local market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
- • Proven experience as a restaurant or pizzeria manager or in a similar leadership role
- • Strong understanding of food preparation, pizza-making processes, and restaurant operations.
- • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- • Ability to manage time effectively, multitask, and solve problems under pressure.
- • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, payroll, and inventory.
- • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food industry.
- • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- • A passion for pizza and customer service
- • Experience with POS systems and restaurant management software.
- • Culinary training or a background in food service is a plus.
- • Knowledge of marketing and sales strategies specific to the food and hospitality industry
